Everyone is welcome to join us at Colwell Baptist Church for any of our services, events or other activities. You don’t need to believe in order to belong…we hope that you’ll find we are a welcoming community and a safe place for people to explore life’s big questions; questions about life, the Bible, faith, doubt and belief.
However, those who are certain of their faith and who are committed to living as followers of Jesus – who have made a public declaration of their Christian faith – and who feel that this is the church family they are called to be committed to, are encouraged to become formal members of the church.
Membership says, “I’m committed to following Jesus and I’m committed to belonging and believing here at Colwell Baptist Church”. It says, “This is my spiritual family - whom I need and who need me.” Just like belonging to a family, being a church member brings with it responsibilities as well as a sense of commitment and belonging.
